It is a Session 88 FR frame with dual crowns instead of the single crown forks it came stock with. http://www.trekbikes.com/ca/en/bikes/2009/archive/session88fr

Not everyone has Mommy and Daddy buy them a $1500.00+ bike for them. How many of you guys actually bought your own bike? Something tells me not very many, especially all you guys with the negative comments.

And yes I have over nine grand worth of bikes in my garage, that I paid for, lol.

To be honest, I have an 06 Diablo 1.0 (as noted above) Most of the weight is in the rear shock coil spring and the tires. With a Front: 26 x 2.70" Maxxis High Roller UST, Rear: 26 x 2.50" Maxxis High Roller UST, you gain a lot of weight. And if you do a little spec checking, manufacturers like Kona and Specialized, don't even list weights for their all mountain and DH bikes???? lol

Too Much???? You need to do your research before making any comments. This bike retailed for at least three grand. If you don't believe me, check the following links.

http://www.bikepedia.com/QuickBike/BikeSpecs.aspx?Year=2007&Brand=Jamis&Model=Diablo+2.0&Type=bike

http://www.productwiki.com/2007-jamis-diablo-2-0/

and the less expensive Diablo 1.0 is on sale at Jenson USA for $1,149 50% off $2,300 msrp.

I have an 06 Jamis Diablo 1.0, so I know how good a bike Jamis makes and how much they sell for.

It's not FSR, but it is great suspension system, one that has won many awards for years and many races.

As per the Jamis website:

The original Jamis Dakar multi-link suspension platform, refined throughout the years, has won numerous industry awards & accolades, as well as multiple World Cup & NORBA National titles.

System is fully active with a near vertical wheel axle travel path, excellent lateral & torsional stiffness for rear wheel tracking precision.

I have an 06 Dakar and an 06 Diablo 1.0, and they are both great bikes. I'd snag this frame, but my Dakar is already a 19" frame, so I don't need it.

She was probably the one who took the picture, and if that is the case, that poor kid has two stupid parents.

Not very bright man, instinct might kick in, but what if he isn't quite quick enough? How many times have you crashed when you least expected it and didn't have time to react? More than you'll ever admit. Just not worth it.

You open your posting with "Hey guys, i have a Kona Stab Supreme for sale at a remarkably low price." But you do not list a price? or did you forget how much you want, just like you forgot your password???? lol.

I asked how much you wanted and you didn't answer, so I gave you a low offer. What do you expect? an offer of more than you paid? NOT!!!!

There are a lot of good deals on this web site, like the 07 Kona Stab Deluxe going for $2000. Just do a search for pascal85 and you should find it. Yes the bike is New Brunswick, but anything can be shipped for not a lot of money. Oh and by the way, I have the cash to buy a bike and I will be checking out this other bike.

And for anyone thinking of buying a used bike, you should note the following on the Kona web site. Most used bikes do not have any warranty, even if the bike comes with the original bill of sale and a blank warranty card. They can (and will) trace the sale back to the shop it was bought from and see who bought it.

http://www.konaworld.com/owners_area/warranty_terms.htm

GENERAL PROVISIONS

This limited warranty is made only to the original owner of this Kona bicycle purchased from an authorized Kona dealer, and it shall remain in force only as long as the original owner retains ownership of the Kona bicycle.

Riding season is over and the 08's will be out soon, so how about we start at $1000.00 since no one has offered a price.
